This corrected second impression includes all the corrections to the Welsh text noted by the Church in Wales, together with a small number of other corrections.
This is intended as the final print-ready version of the book.
This includes a second set of corrections. In addition, the opening greeting of each eucharistic prayer is laid out in parallel columns; and the administration of communion page has also been laid out differently. Both of these, especially the latter, have involved some deviations from the standard grid used elsewhere in the book, so that the material will fit. (Similar changes have been made in the outline order as well.) The copyright page has been made bilingual, though there are some further corrections needed to the Welsh translation. These corrections to the copyright page are now included in this modified fifth proof.
The fourth proof incorporates all the corrections of substance submitted by proofreaders, and includes the full text of the book, including the dummy title page. All page cross-references have been inserted.
As well as checking these page in general, I note that the copyright page, the Introduction, and the Acknowlegements have not been proof-read, so please give these a special check. The copyright page is in English-only -- is that okay?
Hopefully, this will be the final proof before going to press.
This updated third proof contains the full extent of the book, with a half-title page, ‘dummy’ title page, copyright page, brief contents, as well as the introduction, texts of the services, and the acknowledgements section. (A further update, 22 July, has a few changes in the achnowledgements section and a minor change on the contents pages.)
Still to do are the page number cross-references.
This second proof contains all the content of the book apart from the title page, copyright page, and any contents and authorization information. In addition, compared with the first proof, I have corrected a handful of typographical errors, mostly small formatting errors.
As with the first proof, page cross references have not yet been redone – this needs to wait until the page numbers are finalized.
A further proof will be issued in a few days once the 1984 English and Welsh language texts of the 1984 Eucharist have been typeset.
This page contains a copy of the first proof of the new Eucharist book. In order to make this available as quickly as possible it is not yet a complete proof of the entire book. Various preliminary pages are missing, but the proof has been updated to contain all the material in the appendices. Note that all page references have not yet been redone -- this needs to wait until the page numbers are finalized of course.
